CrossFit Level I Trainer


I came to CrossFit in 2012 after I had signed my contract to join the United States Marine Corps. I wanted to get in shape but also wanted that competitive aspect that was found in sports and that’s exactly what CrossFit gave me. I was immediately drawn in by CrossFit’s idea of “specializing in not specializing” which directly related to combat where you must be prepared for anything that you may be faced with. CrossFit also presented me with the ability to get lost in a WOD, giving my mind a rest from all of the outside stresses that seem to overwhelm our lives.

CrossFit has not only made me both physically and mentally stronger but it has made me a better person, showing me that things are earned never given. Nothing in CrossFit will be handed out you must earn every pound on the barbell or second on that run. The only thing holding you back from achieving a PR is hard work and determination.

As a coach at CrossFit Cornelius my main goal is to seek improvement in the fitness and health of every member in the most efficient, safest, and effective way possible. No matter if your goal is to become the fittest man or woman on earth or if it’s just so you can better your health I am here to set you on the right path. Giving you the set of tools and instructions to accomplish that goal so that we can better your lives and those that you share it with.
